Acer H233H

The Acer H233H LCD monitor with built in speakers and a good performance is a new 23-inch monitor from Acer which has got good offerings at a relatively low price. Though for many people it’s about the size of the monitor screen and the main performance in their required budget, but for the techno savvy people, it is more than just a monitor. It not only includes the HDMI, VGA and the DVI connectors, but it is a great high-end product in the area of playing games apart from watching movies.

Acer H233H has got a 16:9 aspect ratio monitor with a shiny screen on black matte panel along with a foot stand which is oval shaped and is 10.6×7 inches in dimensions. The aspect ratio encourages the “Full High Definition” 1920×1080 pixel resolution, where the pixel response rate is 5ms and the contrast ratio is dynamic and is 40000:1.

Though the display of Acer H233H operates well with the DisplayMate, but this model is not that efficient in handling the display of the darker objects. Where the brightness is concerned, it boasts of scoring 300 cd/m2 (candelas per square meter). The colors in Acer H233H are full of vibrancy and the games with User preset are played better rather than the Graphics preset.

Since most of the monitors use the TN panels, Acer H233H also uses it and darkens the screen about 6 inches from the focal point, but while viewing the screen from the optimum angle, the images were also normal. Acer H233H is not that impressive when the power consumption point is discussed as it has a fairly low current draw of 38.6 watts when on the On/Default position, and the standby power is lower and amounts to 1.09 watts.

Acer offers the 3-year labor and parts warranty for H233H as well, like its other monitors, and there is the email support for its customers on its website. Priced at $209, Acer H233H is overall a good LCD monitor from the company retaining the industry standards.
