Any guesses what this plug is for and what’s inside the plug. Believe it or not, there is a tiny 1.2GHz computer inside the plug. Called as Marvell SheevePlug, it is even smaller than the Fit PC2 which was reviewed just few days ago. It’s designed to act as a low powered server with a flavor of Linux to do email and other small stuff.
It is a compete computer with USD and gigabit Ethernet backed by a 1.2 GHz CPU, 512MB of flash storage and 512MB of RAM. You won't be able to find any video output but it could be added by an OEM, or connected via USB.
It might not provide you with the complete features of a PC but this can definitely act as an alternative to those huge CPU’s.
