Latest launch from Samsung is the T Omnia, a upgrade in the line of i900 Omnia series, the big screen mobile in the market. The screen size is pretty large at 3.3 inch and pixels are about four times.

There is also option for watching terrestial digital TV when you are on a go. The new T*omnia is much larger than the original one. It stands at 115.2 x 58.1 x 13.65 mm.

The operating system is Windows Mobile 6.1 and has quad GSM support. It also has HSDPA support. Other specifications are similar to that of earlier Samsung i900 omnia. The only addition seems to be the introduction of Samsung propietary DNSe audio Technology.

Samsung T*Omnia would be launched in two models. One is the samsung SCH-M490 model which will have 4 GB embedded memory. The second one would be samsung SCH-M495 which would have 16 GB of huge storage capacity.

To start with, Samsung T*Omnia is being sold only in Korea. But soon this model would be released in international market. However, other countries would not find the same korean model, instead many features would be changed. SK telecom is the first to take up responsibility of bringing it into market by Middle of noevember.

It is strange that the original Omnia, Samsung i900 Omnia, would have been much hit if these specifications were embedded in it. Anyways, these days such stunts are common to beat others in market.

Good information. Today I just got a Samsung Omnia SCH-i910 within the mail from eBay, and it presently looks that it is at stock settings for your Verizon Network. I prepare to utilize this cell phone on Metro PCS. I also desire to put Windows Mobile 6.5 on right here, but I’m not positive which order I should do this in. Should I carry it to Metro PCS as is and have it activated, after which it afterward flash the ROM with 6.5? Or need to I modify the ROM primary and be able to acquire it to Metro PCS? I’ve been searching around and I’m unable to discover the answer to this.
