I think this is getting more common now days. We get apps that does not require any installer and it can be installed and launched from a USB flash drive. This makes it ideal for surfing at public computers.

I think this is the way to go. Some people are too careless when it comes to security so the banks need to do something. My bank has recently introduced a card reader (looks like a small calculator) that you need to put your bank card in, enter your pin and then use the number generated to log in. It’s a complete pain and the device is too bulky to carry around all the time. Looks like this would be much easier and quicker.

not convinced with USB stuff security. Handling such a tiny smart cards is a task.
