One of the Giant in Digital media, Panasonic has announced its new gadget this week which would stun the Digital Media Market and finally take it to the next generation level. With amazing products already in line, Panasonic has now come up with state of art gadget that would delight most of the Digital Media Professionals.
Just like always, a new revolution in Technology has been brought in by Panasonic. This time through its new Digital Camera which is said to be the most smallest and simple DSLR in the world.
Panasonic Lumix G1 is the first DSLR digital Camera of its kind, which comes in a new compact format called the Micro Four Thirds. The complex system of glasses used earlier is now a passe. Micro Four Third uses a 18 x 13.5 mm sensor, that makes it possible to make Cameras with much thinner body case.
There is also a huge reduction, up to 50%, between the distance of Seat Assembly and the sensor which itself is a great achievement. This means 50% of reduction in the required lenses.
Some of the key features of Lumix G1 is 12.1 MP live MOS sensor, Venus Engine HD image processor, MEGA OIS image stabilization, an intelligent ISO, AF tracking, detection of faces in images and a system for reducing dust – Supersonic Wave Filter. The weight is also ideal at 385 gms and is about 20 mm thick.
Essentially this camera has been launched only in Japan market presently and would be available from October this year. However, with its amazing features and promising success with consumers, it would soon be seen in International market. The price has been set to $750 which is one of the key features in this segment.
