Vista vs XP: People not ready to leave XP

People are grunted with the news that Microsoft is going to close all the sales of Retail and OEM of XP by June 30, thus making sure that all the PC in future would have Windows Vista preloaded on them. Most of them, nearly 70% of people who took part in the survey said that they are not happy with this news and 79% opted to choose windows XP if given choice.
The survey carried was basically an inspiration from online community site called savexp.com. Uptil now 100,000 folks have added their names to the online petition there, urging Microsoft to reconsider its decision to discontinue windows XP.
Why the outburst of affection for an OS? Assuming you are running an updated copy of service pack 2, its a remarkably mature and predictable product. People feel no compelling reason to adopt vista. Many reported that Vista had problems of being sluggish and having hardware and software compatibility issues.
Nevertheless, with time people would slowly adapt to this new OS as they adapted to XP. The new Service Pack 1 addresses many speed issues and resolves them. Hopefully going forward, we would have a 100% stable Vista version.

I just got a new computer preloaded with Vista. I don’t know anything about it really other than what I’ve heard online. I don’t know a single person who uses it and all the computers where I work are still XP. My fingers are crossed that it will be better than it’s reputation
well Vista very simple to use, once you get used to it. I like it better than other operating system because everything is perloaded in it.
