The PSP system's game list with over 350 titles already includes the ultimate in portable games with new offerings like God of war: chains of Olympus and Final Fantasy - Crysis Core. Most of the time you will be engrossed with the single player mode but this is not the limit.

In Multiplayer, you can play with people online, or play with nearby PSP systems without an Internet connection. Share elements of your game with your friends even if they don't own the same game and you can download games freely directly through your PlayStation portable web browser.

Watching Movies: You can watch movies on its superb wide screen 480X272 size LCD which can display 16 million colors. More than 460 blockbuster movies and TV shows are available on UMD disc. You can also connect the PSP to a TV and watch movies using the TV-out cable, which you have to buy separately. Videos can also be copied on its memory stick from a PC or streamed from a PS3 or the Internet. The PSP features a fully loaded media player. There are extensive options for audio, display, subtitles and you can even change aspect ratios and viewing angles of UMD movies.

Homebrew: Though not legal, Home brew is worth a mention. PSP Home brew refers to the process of executing unsigned code on the PSP by exploiting security loopholes in the PSP's firmware. Some examples of Homebrew are - "Daedalus" a Nintendo 64 emulator, "gpSP" which allows the user to play Game boy Advance games, "UMD Dumpers" which can copy the data from a UMD disk, "PSPTube" which allows playback of You Tube (FLV) videos through WLAN.

Listening to Music: The PSP is also a music player with equalizers, visualizations and the sound quality is also exceptional. It has got on board stereo speakers but sounds even better with headphones. It plays MP3s, WAVs, WMAs, ATRAC3+ and MP4s. With the addition of Internet Radio (via SHOUTcast) in PSP firmware update 3.80, PSP system owners can listen to thousands of stations for free!

Internet and WiFi: The New PSP has Wi-Fi built right in, which you can use to do lots of fun stuff. You can directly enable WLAN and start playing games with other PSPs nearby without fiddling around with confusing settings. You can play with up to 16 connected PSPs at a single time! And if you are at a Wi-Fi hotspot, you can go online and play a multiplayer game without people anywhere in the world. You can also browse the Web, download Music and videos and stay upto the minute with your blogs, podcasts and news feeds. There is an awesome feature called Remote play where you can access your PS3's hard drive and even you home computer from anywhere when you are online.

Photography: Though it does not have built in camera, but you can certainly attach a compatible camera accessory to take pictures. You can store photos on the Memory stick and view them on the huge crystal clear screen. The PSP can also create a slide show of your photos and even beam them to your friends using Wi-Fi. The pictures can also be used as wallpapers for the PSP screen.
